Island Victory arrived to Core Industries in September 2020 to load out the mooring chains for the Mad Dog project. This vessel is specialized in receiving chain into its winch system and storing it below deck for deployment in the Gulf at the project site. Core loaded long, heavy (bundles of 127,000 lbs.) shots of chain onto the deck and they were then stowed below deck.
